Since joining BFBS Radio in the early 90's Richard has travelled the world with stops in Belize, Germany, Cyprus - where he met and married Caroline - back to Belize again, before heading off to the prairies of Canada to open and manage the new BFBS station in Suffield and then on to the Falklands, where the family expanded with the arrival of young James.
Richard can now be heard on BFBS Radio across the UK on DAB Digital Radio every weekday afternoon, covering the stories that matter to the British Forces community and playing some fantastic music from the sixties to the present day, including the Classic Year at 3.30pm (UK time).
