Following a successful junior athletics career, competing for Great Britain and England, Jessie upped sticks and moved from her native Liverpool to London, bagged a media degree and subsequently her first job with BBC Sport. From there Jessie presented a children's radio show and also produced at Five Live.
After working for a few years at BBC Sport mixed with some sport's modelling, Jessie had itchy feet and wanted to see the world. "I'm lucky I landed a job presenting a show with BFBS Radio! I love the remit of our station, which is to entertain the British troops wherever they are in the world and provide that vital link to home."
So far she's been to Belize, the Falklands, Gibraltar, Kuwait and is currently presenting the Ops breakfast show from our studio's in Camp Bastion, Afghanistan. She says: "I look forward to racking up some more air miles with BFBS!"

When she's in the UK Jessie presents Saturday breakfast but for the next three months she'll be waking up British Forces with Ops breakfast from our studio's in Camp Bastion.
