Hailing from the south-west of Scotland, Brian first worked as a volunteer presenter for BFBS Radio in the Falkland Islands (in 1988!) and then spent three years as a freelance presenter in Germany fronting the Saturday Night Party show with Radio FFN near Hannover and the Friday drivetime show at Radio Westfalica in Minden.  You'll have guessed by now that he used to be in the army and speaks pretty good German...

While in the army, Brian enjoyed more stints with BFBS Radio in Belize, Cyprus and Kosovo before leaving the forces and joining us as a full-time presenter.  During the last seven years Brian has presented every show on BFBS in Germany, spent a year in Cyprus, been detached to Bosnia, Kosovo, the Falklands and completed two tours in Iraq. 

Brian also likes wearing leather trousers, but this doesn't make him weird...
